Hailed by the critics as “Atlanta’s most adventurous early music ensemble” (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution), NEW TRINITY BAROQUE is recognized as one of the leading early music ensembles in the U.S.A. Founded in London in 1998 and based in Atlanta, NTB was initially established as an ensemble of international musicians and it continues to maintain this presence through working closely with U.S. and international artists. Performing on period instruments of the 17th and 18th centuries, the group’s repertoire ranges from chamber to orchestral, from cantatas to operas, and its styles from Renaissance to Classical.

New Trinity Baroque’s past performances include Southeastern U.S. premieres of Monteverdi’s Vespers, Handel’s Gloria, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and the B minor Mass, Vivaldi’s L’Estro Armonico, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and La Serva Padrona, Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Divertimenti for Strings, as well as forgotten repertoire such as concerti grossi by Wassenaer and Hellendaal, and madrigals by Francesco Portinaro.

The group released eight CDs and has performed in England, Finland, Sweden and Serbia, as well as in many other cities in the U.S.A., including New York, Boston and Washington D.C. Since 2008 the group has regularly appeared at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.

U proširenom sastavu izvodi Pergolezijev Stabat mater pred prepunim atrijumom Narodnog muzeja u Beogradu. Austrijske barokne akademije, koja podrazumeva i koncert u Becu u 2012. godini. U novembru 2011. ansambl Beogradski barok beleži veoma uspešan nastup na 8. medunarodnom festivalu cembala u Beogradu - Cembalo, živa umetnost u svecanoj sali Skupštine grada Beograda.

"Smiljka Isakovic, Kraljica Cembala"

U programu ce nastupiti:
Karolina Beter, blok i traverzo flauta
Andrej Jovanic, barokna gitara i teorba

O programu:
U baroknim kompozicijama Iberijskog poluostrva uvek se oseca pecat, uticaj, a ponekad i zvucni citat španske tradicionalne muzike, narodnih instrumenata i narodnih plesnih formi, i to pre svega Andaluzije, flamenka i kante honda, muzike pod uticajem Mavara, Sefarda i španskih Cigana. Cesto se igrajuci tonalitetima, koristeci modalne boje, zatim disonance i akordska rešenja do tada neprimenjivana u muzici za klavijature (uticaj gitarske tehnike rasguado), španski i portugalski kompozitori koriste foklor kao nepresušni izvor inspiracije.
Na programu su dela: Antonio Valente, Anon (XVII, iz zbirke Flores de Musica), Carlos Seixas, Joao de Sousa Carvalho, Jose Ferrer, Padre Antonio Soler i Domenico Scarlatti.
